The state of any community’s children eventually becomes the state of the whole community. This is true in every community worldwide.

With a mandate to redefine the notion of community by embarking on a path where barriers weaken and eventually dissolve, leading  to the celebration of  humanity on an equal platform with love, care, and support for the common good, the Okang Royal family and citizens of Omanye Kingdom partnered with Purpose Impact on a visit to Haven of Hope orphanage to celebrate and interact with orphans from 3 orphanages in the community.

On August 4th 2023, Dr. Mrs. Angela Bazemore Quaye of Purpose Impact,  organized the 11th  birthday celebration of her twin boys Ezra and Edwin Quaye as a means to give back and make an impact on the lives of 300 orphans. Citizens of the Omanye Royal Kingdom joined in the celebration, bringing along school supplies, party favors and other. Presentations of numerous donations were made by the Purpose Impact team and medical training was provided to the team onsite.

In their excitement to welcome us, the Haven of Hope band gave a heartwarming performance, showcasing their best repertoire! The Royal family danced along, which brought great smiles to the faces of the all the kids.

Having noticed that the band had limited instruments and no uniforms, HRM, Queen Vickylextar and Prince Alvin appealed to citizens of Omanye Kingdom to pull resources together to meet the identified need.

Exactly a month later, this promise was fulfilled and the orphanage was presented with a variety of instruments including keyboard/ stand, acoustic guitars, acoustic drums/ drum sticks, tambourines, chime, and flutes. Furthermore, custom made uniforms and sandals were provided for each member of the band.

The Okang Royal family and citizens of Omanye Kingdom continue to empower communities to tap into the ingenuity they possess to craft solutions that steer towards a more promising and inclusive future, benefiting everyone.
