Omanye Royal Kingdom Champions Mentorship at Influential Gathering

Her Royal Majesty Queen Vickylextar and a delegation of the Omanye Royal Kingdom graced the virtual conference “Women of Influence Presents: Mentorship – Relevance in Purpose and Destiny Fulfillment” on May 10, 2025. This powerful event, organized by Life Changers Club International (LCCI) and Women of Influence, was hosted by Pastor and Princess Juliet Nka, the Acting International President of LCCI.

The conference convened a diverse group of women and men to explore the pivotal role of mentorship in empowering women to achieve their purpose and fulfill their destinies. International Vice President (IVP) Bukola Eniola served as a dynamic moderator, guiding the discussions and ensuring a vibrant exchange of ideas.

The assembly featured a lineup of distinguished speakers, each offering unique insights and perspectives:

  • Reverend Fayleen Thompson emphasized the transformative power of mentorship, drawing from personal experiences and highlighting the importance of guidance and support in fulfilling one’s God-given potential. She reminded attendees that “mentorship is a journey, and it’s not an overnight process”.

  • Her Royal Majesty (HRM) Queen Vickylextar of the Omanye Royal Kingdom, an honored speaker at the event, delivered an inspiring message on the significance of mentorship, confidence, and purpose in unlocking women’s potential. Her Majesty stated, “Mentorship builds more than skills, it builds sight, it teaches a woman not just what she can do, but who she is and what she was born to become”.

  • Professor Dr. Tiffany Lancaster, CDSE, urged attendees to prioritize love, compassion, and empathy in their interactions, emphasizing that “love is the key and love is the only way”. She challenged everyone to be “key holders” and not “gatekeepers,” sharing their knowledge and opportunities with others.

  • NP Aldith Ellis Walker provided an overview of Women of Influence, outlining the organization’s vision to empower women through skill-building, training, and mentorship, with the core purpose of “using our influence to transform lives for the better”.

  • Her Excellency Professor Aileen Bowen Greenfield passionately advocated for paying it forward and using one’s achievements to uplift others, sharing her personal story of mentorship and its profound impact. She poignantly stated, “It is not what we have that will enhance the life of others, but it is what we give that will enhance their lives”.

Throughout the conference, speakers underscored the importance of mentorship in providing guidance, building confidence, fostering leadership skills, and creating supportive communities where women can thrive.

HRM Queen Vickylextar and the Omanye Royal Kingdom delegation actively contributed to this empowering dialogue. Her Majesty was also recognized for her outstanding leadership and advocacy with a special honorary award, named “Global Mother Mentor of LCCI Nation”.

The event culminated in a renewed commitment from all participants to embrace their roles as mentors and actively work to empower women in their communities and beyond.
