New York, NY – March 19, 2025 – An Omanye Royal Kingdom delegation participated in the interactive dialogue on “Peaceful and Inclusive Societies” at the 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69). This dialogue addressed the urgency of recommitting to creating peaceful and inclusive societies, recognizing the vital role of women in peace processes, economic recovery, conflict prevention, and sustaining peace.  

The delegation’s presence at this dialogue underscores the Omanye Royal Kingdom’s dedication to promoting women’s leadership, ensuring African women in the diaspora have access to economic and leadership opportunities, and advocating for sustainable development solutions that protect African communities, particularly women and girls, from climate-related risks. These priorities are integral to the Kingdom’s mission to bridge gaps between communities and serve humanity through its pillars of leadership development and reconciliation.

The delegation led by Her Royal Majesty Queen Vickylextar joined government officials, women leaders, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and United Nations experts to discuss immediate actions to foster gender-responsive and inclusive peace-making, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding.

The dialogue served as a vital platform to highlight best practices and examine the role of the women, peace, and security agenda in creating cooperative and inclusive societies. It focused on reinvigorating commitments, encouraging collaboration and partnerships, and identifying tangible strategies to empower women and girls while building resilient communities.
