LONDON, UK – April 23, 2025 – Her Royal Majesty Queen Vickylextar, accompanied by members of the Omanye Royal Household, graced the International Leaders Summit at the UK Parliament in London as a distinguished Guest of Honour and proud recipient of the International Book of Achievers Award. The Right Honourable Baroness Sandip Verma, a respected member of the UK House of Lords, extended this prestigious invitation, a clear indication of the global recognition of Her Majesty’s visionary leadership and the Omanye Royal Kingdom’s significant contributions to positive global change.

At the gracious invitation of Baroness Verma, Her Royal Majesty delivered an inspiring keynote address centered on Women Empowerment. This vital topic, a cornerstone of the Kingdom’s mission, reflects its profound vision of a world where every individual can achieve their full potential. Drawing from her extensive experience as a global advocate for positive change, Her Majesty articulated a powerful message designed to galvanize international leaders and further establish her as a leading voice for women worldwide.

In her compelling address, Her Majesty presented a strategic vision for advancing women’s empowerment, highlighting three key imperatives:

• She emphasized the need to guarantee education for every girl, acknowledging the millions currently denied this fundamental right. She urged leaders and institutions to mobilize resources to ensure universal access to education.
• She advocated for closing legal and economic gaps by removing discriminatory laws in workplaces and expanding social protection measures, ensuring that no woman is barred from education or decent work.
• She championed gender-responsive financing, calling for the allocation of a substantial percentage of global resources to gender equality initiatives and promoting blended finance mechanisms to direct capital towards women-owned enterprises.

Her Majesty passionately asserted that implementing these measures could unlock an estimated seven trillion in global GDP and, more importantly, uphold the dignity and potential of half the world’s population.

This significant engagement exemplifies the Kingdom’s unwavering dedication to its core values of cultivating visionary leadership, fostering unity within communities, and advancing women’s empowerment. The summit also provided a unique and dynamic platform for Her Majesty and the Omanye Royal Kingdom delegation to forge invaluable connections and strengthen existing partnerships with key international leaders and policymakers.

The Right Honourable Baroness Sandip Verma, a respected member of the UK House of Lords and Ministerial Champion for Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls Overseas, who also chairs the UN Women’s national committee.

MP Marsha De Cordova, who has represented Battersea as a Labour MP since 2017, served as Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities from 2020 to 2021, and currently holds the position of Second Church Estates Commissioner.

Alain St Ange, a distinguished Seychellois politician – currently in the presidential race – served as Minister for Tourism and Culture, and later for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, of Seychelles. Mr. St Ange currently serves as President of the African Tourism Board, an organization whose focus on cultural reconciliation aligns with Omanye’s vision.
