Why I Run

I’m running this 5K to help change lives through the power of education. I had the privilege of meeting some of the amazing students during a recent trip to Ghana, and seeing firsthand the impact access to education can make was truly life-changing. This fundraiser is about giving more children around the world the opportunity to learn, grow, and build brighter futures. It’s also a great way for me to stay active and challenge myself—because making a difference and getting in shape can go hand in hand! Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to providing hope, opportunity, and lasting impact. Thank you so much for your support!

Why I Run

I’m running to raise funds for the Omanye Royal Foundation to continue providing education to underprivileged children, supporting grassroots efforts around the world, empowering youth, and uplifting both women and men in our communities. I’m excited and thankful for the opportunity to do so this way!! Running has always been a personal challenge for me as I used to struggle with asthma and was afraid to run— a real test of resilience, strength, and self-discipline. It represents empowerment and a testament of healing and progress in my own life, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect that personal journey with a mission I truly believe in.
